Post-Yurt House

This project comprised on a small, very efficiently sized and built home on a rural site outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The owners had a clear vision for the home and were a pleasure to work with. They did not require detailed drawings, as the husband was a skilled carpenter and craftsman. Working together we established the proportions of the exterior elevations, window sizes, placement, and proportions, and floor plan layout. The project resulted in a small, well-detailed and built home in the woods in the far north. It’s a delight to visit in and experience on a cold winter night in Alaska.
